With rocks as their clues and volcanoes, ice sheets and colliding continents as their suspects, scientists launch a forensic investigation that will help viewers visualize how the Earth has evolved and formed over millions of years.

Review: This release represents the complete season two of the History Channel show How the  Earth Was Made.  This series shows us the sheer power and force that is our planet.  It gives you an in-depth behind the scenes look at the history of earth.  It goes into how the continents used to be connected and how so many of the natural attractions were created.   Everything from Yosemite to Death Valley to Mount St. Helens.

The History Channel never disappoints with their television series.   This documentary series is great for anyone interested in the earth's history.  It also works great for your kids, as it will actually keep them interested in the topics.  If you homeschool, this blu-ray is definately for you!  This season came out on DVD last summer, but now we finally get it in high-definition and it looks amazing.

Interest Range: Documentary, History Channel
