I Am Number Four 3-disc (Blu-Ray + DVD + Digital Copy) Review

Synopsis: Three are dead. Who is Number four? From Director D.J. Caruso (Disturbia), producer Michael Bay (Transformers) and the Emmy-winning writers of TV's Smallville, comes this gripping, action-packed thriller. John Smith (Alex Pettyfer) is an extraordinary teen masking his true identity to elude a deadly enemy sent to destroy him. Living with his guardian (Timothy Olyphant) in the small town he now calls home, John encounters unexpected life-changing events - his first love (Dianna Agron, TV's Glee), powerful new abilities and a secret connection to the others who share his incredible destiny. Complete with deleted scenes and more, I Am Number Four is an explosive suspense-filled ride that will take you to the edge of your seat and beyond.

Review: The fantasy genre is always looking for another great entry..I am Number Four is just that for the teen Twilight-loving crowd.  The film introduces a few characters, most of which are intertwined in some type of love triangle.  The basic premise is centered around aliens that are being exterminated.  The ending kinda blows up larger than the whole of the film with an epic battle that really redeems some of the earlier nonsense moments.  Overall, its a great watch.

The special features on this set include: DVD: Becoming Number 6, Bloopers, 1-Disc BD & 3-Disc BD Combo Pack (includes all DVD bonus PLUS), 6 Deleted Scenes, with introductions by Director D.J. Caruso, Extended Strangers in Paradise, Sam's Mom, Worth Mentioning, Power Prank, Trying to Connect and Extended Warsaw Basement.

Interest Range: Action, Drama
