Synopsis: A group of soldiers, scientists and civilians, fleeing an attack, is stranded billions of miles from Earth on an Ancient ship known as the Destiny. Locked on an unknown course, they must fight to survive and find a way home. The danger, adventure and hope they find on board the Destiny will reveal the heroes and villains among them.
Review: Stargate Universe (SGU) is one of the more interesting sci-fi shows on television. The Stargate franchise began with a movie and I had no idea when I was sitting in the theater that it would be able to branch out into so many television series in the coming decades.
Stargate Universe is the latest Stargate franchise show. This blu-ray collects the complete first season of the show and it looks outstanding in high-definition! The special effects look wonderful and the drama is bountiful! Stargate is finally catching up to Star Trek and Star Wars as a sci-fi force to reckon with! Any Stargate or sci-fi fan would be happy with this season! Season 2 is now airing on SyFy, so its a great time to get caught up!
