Synopsis: CSI: NY, the third incarnation of the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation franchise and the spin-off of CSI: Miami, is a crime drama about forensic investigators who use high-tech science to follow the evidence and solve crimes in The Big Apple.
Review: There are a few crime drama shows that have lasted the test of time...the CSI franchise is one of those. This incarnation, CSI: NY, has lasted eight seaons and is renewed for a ninth! This DVD release of the complete eighth season is a fantastic collection of murder and mystery. Gary Sinese is creepy. No, really he is..no matter what role he plays he ucks me out, but inspite of that, this show is still a great watch! What fun about this show is that they don't just focus on the crime of the week, there are also character backstories involved. Great show, great DVD release.
