Ruby Sparks Blu-Ray Review
Synopsis:
Calvin is a young novelist struggling with his writing - as well as his romantic
life. Finally, he makes a breakthrough and creates a character named Ruby who
inspires him. When Calvin finds Ruby (Zoe Kazan), in the flesh, sitting on his
couch about a week later, he is completely flabbergasted that his words have
turned into a living, breathing person.
Review: Ruby Sparks is the tale of a writer whose creation comes to life. Of course, even though he dictates things that she can do through his typewriter, she is aunry and gets into mischief...so the question is does he go to that typewrite to fix every little thing or let her grow and be herself? This is a quirkly little romantic comedy that also throws out some big ideas about society and ourselves. Its a great watch.
